amt's tin box version of the 57 chevy

If it has ignition wire and photoetch it's most likely a reissue of their 57 from the late ninties. It was the first of their new style kits with seperate frame and floor pan and such. It's a good build but I seem to remember some slight controversy over the shape of the body. It looks great to me.

These are the various issues of the same modern era (read: created from new tooling in the '90s) AMT '57 Chevy Bel Air Hardtop, easily discerned from the '60s era AMT '57 Bel Air Hardtop kit by the presence of an open trunk area and separate trunk lid.

Note the real car shown on the below box top is a Sedan, but the kit inside is the correct Hardtop:
