IIRC the actual car had a straight line at the bottom of the rear window, not the curved one we saw on the convertible kit. On the convertible it's not an issue because the cover conceals it, but I hope that's been fixed on the hardtop.
Why? Twisters were only in Calypso Coral, so the color wouldn't match either. I assume he used the side stripes because he wanted to and they looked cool, which is all the reason anyone needs.
Oh geez I totally missed that!
I wish we got the expanded decal sheet in the NA releases, those seat insert and seat belt graphics look very nice indeed.
Did anyone get the Revell of Germany version? I'm curious to see if they expanded the decal sheet for that version like they did for the Olds 442. I could use the silver seat inserts from that sheet if they are included and anyone has them.
I'll post pictures later, but after some experimentation I found that Tamiya TS-76 Mica Silver is a very good match for the silver decals in the kit and that is what I painted my hood.
To me, 1/20 for the open wheel car made sense as that was the standard for open wheel cars for many years. I have no issue with that.
I don't usually build IndyCar but I'll likely pick one up and give it a try.
