  1. Wow, Tim, that is too cool! Outstanding model!
  2. Beautiful build, Tommy! I love these Hasegawa kits and have just about every one of them. They make great shelf models and are just right for quick builds between more detailed builds. I just saw where Studio 27 has a PE set for these kits. Anyhow, I love the Camel livery that you went with. Very nice, indeed!
  3. It has been an enjoyable Sunday morning. Piping hot coffee, fresh baked, just out of the oven, chocolate chip cookies and a nice 6 page read of a build thread on a gorgeous ‘57 Ford. Great work, David! I’m glad that I took the time to check out this thread.
  4. She looks great, Jim! You've done a nice job on it. Stance looks just right and your decal work is nice and clean!
  5. I think that you are doing a good job on this, Marcus! You are attempting things that most modelers wouldn’t even consider trying. Things almost always look way worse in pictures than they do to the naked eye. We don’t get to zoom in on things with our eyes. I know how small those banjo fittings are. You are doing a fine job with them. I didn’t have a lot of good reference pictures when I built mine. I would have loved to have the picture that you posted above.
  6. Great looking Lambo, Michael! The color really suites it and your photography really shows it off!
  7. Very nice, Tony! That is one good looking Oldsmobile!
  8. Great job, Yoshimi! Not only on this most recent model, but the other two as well!
  9. Very nice, Ken! I really like this one. She looks good in that color!
  10. Marcus, I am not one to blow smoke up someone’s backside, if I don’t like something I will just not comment and move on. IMHO, these look fantastic. I know, as we all do, how small these springs are, even in 1:12. To address something you said in your post, the comment about details holding you back. I know plenty of guys who never finish a model because they get hung up on details or hung up trying to attain the perfect model. Don’t fall in that trap. Do your honest best and move on. No one has built a perfect model yet. Keep up the good work!
  11. I’m really enjoying this one! You are doing some really nice work here.
  12. Thank you, S.K., I appreciate the information! Back in the day, guys would use the old Dymo tape, the stuff used for making old school labels. I had a bunch of it but never liked it. This stuff looks like a good replacement.
  13. You are much too kind, Marcus, thank you! I am not trying to hijack your thread, but I did post a new thread of the finished JPS Lotus, back in 2014. Here is the link: One more thing that may be of help. You can look at my Fotki account, it is BrolinWV. There may be photos there that were not posted here.
