  1. Real wood bed floor with copper trim, craft spray paint, acrylics on the inside. Donk wheels & tires. Blown 454 from Heavy Chevy Malibu.
  2. Almost done with it. Real wood bed with copper trim, donk wheels & tires, blown 454 from "Heavy Chevy" Chevelle kit. Had the black version of this kit, forgot how awful this kit was. This is the green version.
  3. Al, this is the paint I got at Michael's. Limited color selection, but good results with normal prep.
  4. Thanks guys, I appreciate the comments !
  5. My 5 year old granddaughter insisted on helping with this one. She picked the colors, & painted the interior, chassis & engine. Not really a good 1st kit choice, but we had fun. Paint is all Michael's craft & acrylics.
  6. Box stock build with masking tape vinyl top & bmf. Paint is black craft paint from Michael's, interior is dark red acrylic.
  7. Built this for a friend. He has a real one & he's from California, so I added some surfboards & misc.

Totally box stock build. Testors "Revving Red" laquer & Krylon gloss white "short cuts" (small can) . Interior is red, buttermilk & white acrylic craft paint. Engine is nail polish. Lost the fender skirts though, they might have looked cool. I'm quite happy with the Chevy emblems.
  9. Thanks to everyone for taking the time to help me with this. The info you all have provided has been most helpful.
  10. Does anyone make a later model year front & rear conversion kit for the Lindbergh cop cars ?
  11. I'm doing this backwards,so what else is new. Already made a few trades & quite happy with everything so far. I build 1/24-1/25 scale plastic, & enjoy meeting fellow builders from all over. This forum is the best I've seen ! Jeff Kessler
  12. Anyone looking for a good site for a lot of model stuff, check out " Newt'sboneyard ". Lots of great stuff.
