  2. Sometimes simplicity can be the best attention to detail! Very nice GTX!! I bet it looks good on display.
  3. Very nice. I've been looking at these civic kits for a while now and I guess I better get one now! You did a superb job!
  4. I know you haven't heard from me in a while but here is something I've been working on. Primered. Before. After. Wired up the NOS bottle and placed it passenger. Painted the inside of the wheels gunmetal. Where I'm currently at. I altered the suspension by drilling out the original axles and placing them higher to get a lower stance.
  5. OK it's simple hook. You paint the piece of whatever you're painting like a dark dark gunmetal. Black works too. Then you take some screen like from your back porch. After the black dries ALL THE WAY you want to take the screen and hold it on the piece very tight. Make sure your fingers are not in the way. Then you want to spray with the screen on it a shade of metallic grey. Like plain gunmetal. Make sure only to put one good mist coat. Not a real light coat but nothing near a wet coat either. Just a good lil' tsss tsssssss. You know. Then take off the screen and let it dry. Cheap and sometimes cheap looking but nothing beats free and something you did yourself. I also do this on the read fender on my race bike models. Even though it's barely noticable under the fender it's just nice to know it's there so if your friend sees it you can be like, "OH! CHECK THIS OUT MAN! I DID THIS CARBON FIBRE ALL BY MYSELF!!" and be the pimp of your neighborhood. Hope this helps and good luck. Email me if you need pics or whatever.
  6. That is some really amazing work. You are very talented. I really wish the NNL came to FL. Good luck when you're there. Even though you might not need it!
  7. Hey guys, Here I am again with a new bike. Heller kit 1:24 scale. Here are some pics of what I have done so far. Box art: Mockup: The frame and engine: The painted and put together rear end: A closeup of the handlbars: The assembled chasis: Some carbon fibering the poor mans way: Hope you enjoyed these pictures. I did have the body and shrouds painted but I messed them up and they are currently taking a brake fluid bath. See you soon!
  8. Thay paint-job is perfect for that car. I got a DONK impala with a similaar body style that I have plans for. Awesome job!
  9. Hey Zeb: What's a ringer? and Bill: Fortunately it doesn't snow here in Florida. I do sometimes get tired of sweating my ass off in the shade though. Thanks for the feedback.
  10. Ride is final. Check out my Supra under glass.
  11. I love how it came out. Here are some pics. Rear 1/4. Top off. Front 1/4. Panel. Neighbors seeing you being a nerd. Priceless!
  12. Here's another small update. I put some porch screening and painted it chromeish. I also cut out the notches in the hood and did the same thing as well. HERE IS A MOCK UP.
  13. No paint stand. Just whatever I can rig up! A little update also. Dash. Interior. Seats. Chasis.
  14. Here I am again with another update. I got some gloss black with some super gloss coat. I also got the star in my rims painted also.
  15. Does anybody know of any Model Car Clubs that are based in Florida? Preferably Around the Tampa/Orlando area? T.I.A.
