ReptileGuy
I've ordered three of the 73 Chevy Caprice wagon kits. All with woodgrain decals, plus all with the components to convert them into a 1974 intead. Has anyone oredered or built this kit before. I'd like to actually see pics of what I purchased, but model hous has no pics of anything, built or unbuilt. I hope they are accurate, as as they are very expensive, made to order, and take 6 to 8 weeks to arrive...Thanks everyone--- Nick R.
azers
I don't think you'll be dissappointed. Ive ordered from the m.h. before and been very happy. I have seen pictures of this particular one built and it looked very accurate. The two kits including a 50 caddy look very accurate.
Casey
I hope they are accurate They will be. The Modelhaus is pretty much a standard to which other aftermarket businesses and resin casters are compared, and for good reason- they make excellent quality products. Nick, take a look through the Resin & Aftermarket section, or even better, do a search in this section using "modelhaus" (but leave the quotation marks out) and you'll see what The Modelhaus is all about, and what other forum members have to say about them. impcon
i have their '59 Chevy wagon and it;s very good withthe exception of the inside of the tailgate slanting the wrong way. The inside of the gate slopes towards the back of the car instad of the front. I have to admit that considering how nice the rest of the model is, that one aspect was kind of a surprise and disapointment. But the casting itself is excellent. I also bought their '58 or '59 Chevy big back window pickup cab and it is VERY nice! I really wouldn;t worry about whatyou are going to receive - the quality will be worth the money.
