Miatatom
That's a pretty general question, Nathan. We'll need to know the size tubing you want to replicate as well as the scale you are working with.

Ace-Garageguy
Depending on the vintage, class and sanctioning body a competition car runs in, most roll cage and roll bar tubing on full size cars is between 1.5" and 2". Look up the class rules of the car you're modeling. They WILL spell out exactly what tubing diameter is allowed. The rules will call for X" tubing. To know what to use for a correct model, divide X" by the denominator of whatever scale you're working in. Example: Rules call out 2" tubing for roll cage. You are working in 1/25 scale. Divide 2" by 25, = .080". So you use .080" styrene tubing. Pretty simple, works for every scale, every size tubing. This is basic stuff every modeler should know.
