  1. You are correct. But the OP didn't want to get bogged down that's why I said it "can be just a U shaped piece" which to me would be better than the gaping hole that AMT gave us.
  2. It shouldn't really bog you down I wouldn't think It's can be just a U shaped piece that fits around the bottom of the interior tub and takes up the space between the interior tub and the body.
  3. First off Marty, I'm glad you are bringing this one back to the bench again. You keep teasing us with it at KKIM when it shows up on the tables. It deserves to get finished. That being said, I love everything about it, with the exception of the new hood scoop. But digging the Corvette bumps And the top has to stay!
  4. The execution of the fender flares on the 69 is very clean. The paint combo on the 32 is very nice Well done.
  5. I've used the Testors Wet Look clear and Tamiya clear lacquer interchangeably for years. Test it on a smaller part that you could paint a different color (since you're out of that orange) if you're still unsure, like the firewall. Or how about one of the spare fenders you tested the orange on?
  6. Off to a good start, nice collection of parts. My opinion, needs some more rubber and/or bigger wheels in the rear.
  7. I have yet to see the 30 Coupe at HL since the retool. See the 29 roadster all the time, but never the 30 coupe.
  8. My understanding is the Revell 63 non-glue kit (snap 🤫) is the most accurate. Then a few builders have put the chassis from the Revell 67 underneath to make it full detail. Not sure how involved you want to get, just throwing it out there.
  9. I could be wrong but it looks to me like the frame rails and the engine parts are on this tree?
  10. If you seek out one of the Molotow threads in the Tips or Questions areas there is advice about care and steps to restore the pens. My preferred method is to buy the refill bottle and brush it on. and then you don't have to worry about the tip. It's about $30, but it last so much longer it's worth it and easier to use in my opinion.
  11. Nice clean build. looks like you got the tricky part done right and got the windshield laid back where it should be. great color.
  12. A little added info, the ramps are NOT included in the Fireball 500 version.
  13. Found it for you, all 22 pages worth. Admins- maybe combine this topic with the main one?
  14. Thanks for the clarification. But it still stands that we probably won't see the 96 tool roadster again, especially while the NEW roadster /RR is in the catalog.
