    The engine used in the louisville shorthauler is almost the same as 3408, with a little mod, it will work. I have one built and painted pm if interested or check ebay.

    This trailer is called a "high mount" where the only way to add a head rack is for 1 car directly above the cab. Stinger type car haulers 8-10 vehicles have a different type of trailer which usually holds 6-7 vehicles and the rack mounted to the tractor holds 3 cars (2 stacked on top of the drives, 1 on the cab. Stinger types have the fifth wheel moved back behind the drives approximately 6 inches from the pavement.     If you can get your hands on the conversion. I saw a t800 built up tractor, desent on ebay sell for 75.00! I dont know why this conversion is so expensive, I've always liked the T800.

    -I do build trucks, probably some of you are wondering why did this guy build a dumpster?? It's for my next project a mack rd roll off. Waiting on the r model tractor to stretch it and put on a new hood. Allied's HQ is here in Phoenix so there are alot of these on the street. Scratchbuilt from amt's ln box chopped and shortened. Built it 10 years ago when I was living in Chicago. You probably could tell it was done by a 16yr old! Learned how to drive on this one.     I'd soak it in some castrol super clean, I think there's prob an indepth thread on how to strip a body somewhere on this site. Decide what color you like and prime it with that brand first, wetsand a couple coats an shoot it with the yellow. What color is the plastic for that kit?
