sjordan2
I once had a neighbor who had a beautiful 1:1 version with this same color scheme. It was a "mild custom," too (air conditioning, killer stereo and speakers and, oh, yeah – he had turned the cover of the continental kit into a working clock with gold-plated numbers and hands). PS – I forgot to add that the thing had real gold-plated trim everywhere, including badging/nameplates, instrument gauge bezels, etc. I don't remember what the replacement engine was. I got to ride in it and it was smooth as silk. Edited January 22, 2010 by sjordan2
Peter Lombardo
What a beautifully sophisticated "understatement". Not flashy or crazy, just a rock solid clean build of a difficult model. Very impressive and a true testiment to your skills. Also, you can see that this was well thought out, not just thrown together as an afterthought. "Nice", very nice. Junkman
No, this kit cannot be tackled. I wonder whether you traded off your soul for your abilities! The result leaves me in awe, to say the least.
unclescott58
Boy, talking about turning a sow's ear into a silk purse. I'm blown away! I didn't know a Pyro/Lindberg Lincoln could look so good.

Ace-Garageguy
Hey... it's only been six years between comments! Just possibly maybe the renewed interest in this one is because I posted a link to it on a thread where the OP was asking about Pyro kits the other day. I thought that rather than going along with the constant bashing of how bad they are, it might be nice to remind ourselves how good they can look with effort applied. You're one of the modelers who regularly takes blah, ho-hum or toylike kits and makes them into beautiful models, so i'm sure you understand. unclescott58
I got my Lindberg (Pyro) '48 Lincoln in the mail today. The Lincoln here, and Dave Van's Lincoln have convinced me to give this kit a try. I'm looking forward to seeing what I can do with it. If mine turns out half as nice as this one or Dave's, I'll be very pleased. Scott
victorylane
I have this kit, and can't believe what you have done with it Jeff. I am really knocked out by the interior. Simply beautiful work. Thank you for posting it. Brian.
