I thought those were the coolest thing....I just HAD to build one for myself! I dug out one of the oldest kits in my collection, a '49 Ford, and there on the box was a nice looking custom....something ELSE I've been contemplating building. The original chrome had faded, so I'd like to thank buffalobill for the replacement pieces from a reissued kit. The only thing I added that wasn't in the kit was the whitewall decals from SELtd, and flocking. Paint is Testors Italian red with automotive urethane clear coat. I am glad to be of "assistance" in your desires. Well I think this is the first one built like that I have seen! It's really beautifully done as well, very nice paint and clean work! I like it so much I am going to add it to my favorites AND to the instructions set to show how this model will look built, it's perfect!
