2012 POST APOCALYPSE/ZOMBIE HUNTER COMMUNITY BUILD

Are those wheels modified?

No, they're directional, so one side goes one way, and the other side goes another. The Farcon (Nissan Lepeoard) has the same wheels. I think they're Buddhists.

The only modes I did are: shifter, e-brake, center gauge decals, side mirrors from an Academy Le Mons, replaced the gun hole thingys in the side armor, and I used the clear police lights from this kit:

Fujimi-Touge-Toyota-Celica-XX-640x400.jp

I was going to use the door panels from this kit, but I plan on building it, so I started to make some from card stock, but then decided the windows are so (Flander's voice) *gosh dang* dark, you can't see them anyway.... -_-

I was going to rob this kit for the mirrors and wing too, they're relatively cheap, If I didn't get the actual Venus kit, I was just going to use this kit and make a replica like I did with the Trans Am.

It's still going!

I remember this build.

I still have most of my unfinished stuff collecting dust in moving boxes.

I lost a LOT of stuff during a pretty rough patch of 'life happened' and never really recovered it... (hence my EXTREMELY long absence)

I've got a few scratchbuilds that don't necessarily fit in this particular CB, but I may start a new one soon.

Need to get the juices flowing again...

Anyways, I'm back.

Gonna be surfing the last couple years of ZH posts in between cases at work.

I've been building post apocalypse vehicles over the past 2-3 years. I've referenced this forum post so many times for inspiration and ideas. There's been some incredible builds here. Thank you to everyone for showing their creations.

Thanks for the comments. It's much appreciated. I'm really enjoying this type of build. Great fun!

My two current builds are these. I'm at a bit of a standstill on the Datsun 510 pickup. I planned on it being a scout truck, but I ran out of steam. I'm sure I'll pick it up again.

This is the model I can't put down since a week ago...The Phantom Econoline. It has so much potential.

I found a site that sells 3-d printed 1/24 scale machine guns. Ordered them yesterday. I was told they would ship in 2-3 weeks. I've got a spot saved for two 50 cal machine guns behind the sliding door. I hope they fit well.

Again, thank you for the positive feedback. I hope to see more of these builds.
