tomsheehy
I began another build this weekend. I am swapping the kit engine for a parts box engine I had handy. OK, here's the clues...its going to be a relatively stock build, engine is a 327 with a generator. I think only 1 year car was built that way. Anyway, the engine is a Revell and the generator was added from another kit. This should be an easy one for most of us... Anyway, more on the build tomorrow... charlie8575
A 1962 Corvette. The Delcotron (alternator) didn't get a factory installation until 1963. Barring that...a Canadian Pontiac? Charlie Larkin
tomsheehy
You got the Make and year correct, but how about the model? Knowing that I build mostly vintage police cars should help. The engine from Revell is very nicely put together. It came from the 63 Impala low rider kit. Its simplified, but still pretty well detailed. I swapped out the generator, the distributor and coil, but otherwise its from the kit. I did add some decals for detail where needed. The Powerglide was part of the engine. charlie8575
Hmmm...okay. Either: 1. A Biscayne, I'm guessing a 2-door unless you want to try and convert MCW's body into a 4-door. 2. I revert to my other statement and ponder that you're somehow going to come up with a Strato-Cief or Laurentian. I'd imagine at least one or two places in Canada used Pontiacs for cruisers.
