Mackvision
Been lurking about for awhile now, decided to participate. I have been away from the hobby a good many years, but have recently started amassing both kits and building materials.i am just overwhelmed at all the "new" things available to the hobby ie: bare metal foil, decal making material etc. just not sure where to start! I am a 1:1 truckdriver,i own/operate a 2001 Mack CX-613 (vision) along with a restored 1963 B-61T tractor,i have an extensive collection of Mack reference material, and am considered somewhat of an "expert" in both Mack and Brockway trucks. Hope to be of some help on some projects, and wish to learn some new techniques as well, probably a miliion questions so-far!..........................Mark

Tom Setzer
Welcome Mark ! I would advise you to start of with some of the easier kits and concentrate on achieving clean well painted build. Pick a model with simple chrome and practice bare metal foil on it. I would also recomend Donn Yost's Fine DVDs, he Advertises on this site.
