Juerg, She looks mean already, just sittin there with NO paint! Just take your time(the BEST things ALWAYS take time!)and I'll bet money, it'll come out as nice as your other builds, which, by the way, at too shabby at all!!! Oh and BLACK is my FAVORITE color for 69 Chargers!(I had one!) B) You go Juerg, she's lookin good ALREADY! B)

Juerg, it's lookin GREAT!!!! Your makin me all GIDDY about seein her again.I've got about 4 built in all the scales they came in.32nd, 25th, 24th, an 1/18th.It's been well over 30 years and I STILL remember the whine of the starter,and the sound of that big 440 just comin to life! I've NEVER owned a PRETTIER car. Yours'll be beautiful when your done too! Triple Black was my color combo, try the look on yours, an you'll see what I mean!Oh, and NO R/T stripe on it ,to spoil all that beautiful black sheetmetal!!!!! :D:D:D:D:D;)

Sigh............ :D That was a period of time when you could close your eyes and KNOW what kind of car was startin'!

Mopars, Fords, even Corvairs had a very distinct starter sound to 'em. I was a third grader when '69 Chargers were new, and remember the starter sound even then! :D

Juergen, keep up the super work! That's one of Chrysler's finest (and one of their finest moments) and I know you'll do it justice!

hi !!!

i´ll do my best to built this car and i hope i can do.

@harrypri:

i re-do all chrome parts by my models with alclad. i think the factory chrome shine is to much and the chrome parts on the most kits must be sanded to get a better real outfit.

Did you say you "brushed" the Alclad on or did you mean "airbrushed"? I like where this is going, a black Charger, now that's an intimidating look!!! In my opinion, the chrome on the bumpers in the kit is just right, I don't see the need to Alclad them, now for things like valve covers and other small items, you can't beat Alclad. :o

Jeurg, you go boy! That there CHARGER's gonna be one of your prettiest builds! If you like to Alcad your chrome, go for it! It sure can't hurt. The rest of your builds look GREAT, I can't see this one bein any different! And besides, I just LOVE 69 Chargers. Like I said, You GO Jeurg!!! :o

hi guys !

thanks for your nice post´s and i hope i can finished this charger to looking good.

@marcos cruz: hi marcos - yes i airbrushed all chrome parts by my builts with alclad. you are right the chrome parts in the builts are good, but i mean it´s looks like a little bit better with alclad and the chrome looks real. i hope you know what i mean.

I agree with you juergen. The alcad looks just right if its done right. A lot of people make the mistake of adding too many coats causing it to just look silver. And I find lots of imperfections on the chrome like bad mold lines and pieces of dust trapped under the chrome. Yours will look amazing I know already.

Great looking engine and interior. I really like the shading on the seats. Very well done, and I really like the color combinations you picked for the build. Great looking build of an absolute classic car. My very good friend had a 69 Charger back in the day, and I have great memories of driving that car down to the Jersey shore on summer weekends. We used to street race 396 Chevy's and GTO's....it was a hoot! Side by side on two lane streets at night, we were out of our minds...I sure dodged some big bullets back then....anyway, great looking build so far.

Juerg, you went with a vinyl top on it, GREAT! now watch an see how both blacks pop out at cha when you foil the trim around the roof and windsheild. The trim around the C-pillars'll make those big beautiful quarter panels stand right out! Man that's one beautiful car,Juerg, and your doin it proud! ;)
