It would appear so. That would be a great way for somebody to finally do an accurate 32 Ford chassis in scale. Looking at the tree with the wheels, it appears to be 3 inners and 3 outers.
-
Yep. that was addressed to me after I posted. I'm looking forward to picking one or a few up myself.
-
That evidently is short a sprue or two, as I don't see an engine, frame, or suspension. Among other parts. Looks good though.
-
Looks great! For the record, AMT totally miss-labeled this kit. It's actually a 75-76 Dodge Dart Sport.
-
This mistake is on Revell I know, but I wouldn't call those wheels Kidney Beans. This is a Kidney Bean wheel. The Sedan appears to have Halibrand Sprint or C10 wheels.
-
Well I stand somewhat corrected. 5 lug wheels on the rear appear to be a brake drum switch away. Being more of a Ford guy, that is a new one on me. https://autouniversum.wordpress.com/2019/11/29/a-1960s-classic-the-pontiac-8-lug-wheel/

I know this. Just like "The Notebook" is just a movie. This was just an observation.
-
Absolutely possible, but probably rarely done. That said, the GP grille inserts (and 8 lug wheels) are very welcome additions.
-
I hate to "Super Sports Grip" the box art for the 62 Pontiac (Super Sports Grip refers to the first time I watched "The Notebook" with my then future wife, and I pointed out the Super Sports Grip steering wheel cover on the the Hudson Allie drove up in, to see Noah, shortly after World War II). Obviously, those didn't exist yet. Anyway, I'm pretty sure you'd have a hard time bolting those 5 lug reversed wheels onto an 8 Lug Pontiac rear axle.

Not a review, but a future release "hopefully" - Mustang II

Atlantis Models has bought another lot of tooling/molds.....

He did indeedy. It's pretty common knowledge, I've spoken with Jim on the phone more than once about it, and it's in the book about Revell history. Jim Keeler is a very talented cat. And I agree, Atlantis' box is pretty banal. -

Jim Keeler was and is a kit designer. He's why those earlier Revell ultra detailed kits are fiddly, due to their scale fidelity. Some of his earliest designs were the Attempt 1 and the 56 Ford pickup. -
Appears to be an expanded version. Hard to tell for sure from the screen shot, the flames sure look like it. Minus the sponsor decals.
-
@SteveG What does the 40 Sedan decal sheet look like in color? Are those the old Street Rods series flames along the top?

A question for Mr. Goldman - Re Round 2
Dave Darby replied to iwantmodels's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I one hundred percent agree. I built this one in 1992 as a concept to show the Ertl management (back when I built box art models for them) some ideas to breath new life into the kit.
