scbaker
I have a real quick question ... I bought 50 bottles of this paint Has any one used this type of paint ? What do you thin it with to spray through an air brush ? Is it good paint ? Got it really cheap at a swap meet ... Paid fifty cents a piece all bottles are sealed and new . Is it a good deal ? I'm just now trying my hand at air brushing so any help would be great Thanks Steve B.
Mike Kucaba
I've used it and like it. I went to a automotive paint shop here in Mesa and showed them the paint and asked about what to thin it with. I got 2 quarts of enamel reducer by Advantage. The numbers on the qts. are 112 &114 You don't have to get the exact brand, just a good quality reducer for enamel. This paint got a lot of bad press because they (Valspar) tried to make hay with the HOK name. Valspar does own HOK,but this is not HOK. Guest G Holding
Its not HOK..never was or will be. Valspar brought these paints out for wal mart...they failed and now its on clearance. As noted above you need a enamel reducer to thin...The colors are great, but I will pay the price for the real HOK
