ScaleModelAddict
Started on a 69 Nova SS (Revell Special Edition) this evening. My son has one 1/2 built and I'm going to catch up to him, then we'll finish together. I have never built a car kit before. This could be interesting... Basic assembly, cleanup so far. Chief Joseph
Hi Scott! A father-son project is always great. I'm surprised you have time to build models these days-- don't you have an empire to run?
ScaleModelAddict
Lol. We're all busy right? Here's a couple pics of todays progress: Edited December 2, 2012 by ScaleModelAddict
ScaleModelAddict
I gotta quit for the night before I loose my mind. I have a new appreciation for all those that wire 1/25 engines. Nuts. Here's where I got today. I first made some wire boots (I think they're boots) then I tackled the actual wiring. Still lots to do build wise and then some subtle weathering on this. Funny how the digital pics are so...true. I see CA and a seam that my eye didn't see. It could be because they are crossed. Until tomorrow. ScaleModelAddict
LOL. Yeah I don't care to eat anymore glue. Thanks for the comments guys. Yeah, this is my first 1/25 car build. As for dabbling...mostly sci-fi but I've tried armor, aircraft too. Here's a couple from the spring: 1/11 - AMT Speeder. Posed the scout. 1/72 This is 1/25/ Bash and scratch. DIY decals. Now this one, well technically it's a 'car' I guess. 1/35 though, curbside. Scratch roof rack, back rack, brush bumper. Opened the doors. DIY wall..etc... Anyhow..that's all stuff from 2012 - thanks for watching. I don't mean to sidetrack with non-car stuff. I'm here for the cars man. Big time.
