  1. Well i would buy 5 of those at least. compared to not a single one of the old CV they have just brought out. Im in UK so not has high demand but there is a following in Europe
  2. Thanks, being in England i had to use images from the web, looked at least a 1000, had to narrow it down and down as i saw sooooooooooooooo many little interesting things. Size of my display case meant i didnt have the more room i wanted, hence no bad dude car crashed into the thick wooden pole, as my orig plan. I found a great image of a alley, and other side of the mesh fence, where i put the wing, engine bits, i saw a rusty old wreck on bricks...sat there for years. No room to replicate that though :-(
  3. Thanks guys, was a lot of fun, sat in my glass cabinet now. Hope to do another along the same sort of idea later this year
  4. Thanks. Its what i was thinking of going for as the more modern ones only had the single word. Nothing else at all.
  5. None are of the rear, i can see the front, both sides, but not the rear
  6. I cant get those to open, but i know that website, its where i found front and side views, but none at all of the rear. This is the SUV im doing. I will use the grill from the standard kit, rather than scraped off and redone kit one. Just trying to get the right wheels. I need to scratch build some scuff strips and the kit has none https://www.flickr.com/photos/124764964@N06/sets/72157649025220701/ thanks, much app
  7. I just took a look, they look like direct copies of ones i have in my Lindberg or Revell etc kits Look nice Greg
  8. thanks, must take some better images :-) Researched, designed and printed them with another guy in the UK, Final tweaks have been done. Also got a Charger sheet completed and a sheet for various all white CV's has just been done. That leaves a Caprice sheet for forth one that will be ready to offer in Dec. Also working on a SUV, larger NYPD/Correction decal sheets, for MU vehicles etc at the moment (im doing a Expedition MU SUV, and then scratch building a horse box to go behind, and decal up). Trouble is not found a single image showing the rear of a NYPD Expedition, late 90s, early 2000's, closest is a Tahoe like this https://www.flickr.com/photos/70127529@N00/5737135922 We both just happen to buy off US ebay earlier this year really rubbish sheets, wrong spelling (i put a post up before showing that lol) and wrong fonts etc so we decided to do our own for the LIndberg Charger.......then we got carried away lol. We looked at around 500 images at least, often much more to notice small variations, sizes, fonts, repaired body panels with replaced markings etc so lots of little variations between them. If anyone is on Facebook, my friend (never knew him before we got talking about US cop car decal sheets a few months ago) as put some of the pre release test ones he did on a CV this week. You can his CV in this Model Cop Car group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/POLICEandEMERGENCYdiecastANDmodelVEHICLES/ He, more than me, as i just look and study images then get test sheets to use and then tell him things im not happy with etc, as its him that does the decal sheet design, redoing things over and over until we are both happy and actual printing of the decals etc. lol. Each sheet will do 2 vehicles, 2 Impala's, 2 Chargers etc, each sheet has the same type of vehicle (not like we planned at first, ie one Impala and one Charger etc) with many various options on each sheet. We talked about a price aimed at £12.99 a sheet, plus postage This was a old pre release Charger sheet WIP from some time ago https://www.flickr.com/photos/124764964@N06/sets/72157648502911299/ This was the Impala (im doing another with diff NYPD markings). But this is the full build pics for the Impala. Someone pointed out that i got the Pct and number wrong way around on one rear side. https://www.flickr.com/photos/124764964@N06/sets/72157646555755574/ The sheet you can see in the pics was again a pre release test sheet. I used lots of the various options on the sheet over and over on the rear of another model to make sure they matched real images.
  9. Never heard of the Marauder. All new to me. I guess it would be too expensive to have the CV done in resin etc
  10. I want to get a couple of the recent Revel 2 in 1 mid 80s Mustang, Revell are easy to get here, its just AMT etc
  11. I bought 5 Lindberg CHargers, cost me a small fortune to get them shipped over here, I would buy more if i could get the shipping down, almost made 3 already. I would have bought again the same, if not more numbers if it had been a later CV, even a basic kerbside like the Lindberg one would have done. I have made the AMT Tahoe, as a St Louis FD, i want a few more, but again hard to get over here.
  12. Nice. thats the kit i made a replica of mine from. I cut out the bonnet, and i used a old Ford Escort TC engine etc. I had to add window wiper handles on the sides. I cut out the tiny tiny ash tray, just like mine was always open and full of cig ends
  13. IN UK the GT was in the centre of the grill and LT was on one side further off
  14. I noticed some other people asked Revell why on their FB page but never replied. Was there a company that had the rights to the modern CV/Interceptor so only done in diecast? I would have bought 10 in plastic at least. I know some people say kids dont know what a old CV is, they only see a cop car..........but then today its not always kids who buy kits, and if they do its only one of a type, not like us that might have 2 or 3 in a stash. Only thing is i can see, is that Revell is all over the world...... Lindberg never imported (i asked them a few months ago direct) their cop car kits of the CV and Charger, saying no interest at all here........but i know thats BS, UK has a big US and cop car following in modelling
  15. never knew they were SR5 called. I saw my first one, a US import to UK, a RA27 IIRC. had a lousy low powered engine, but i loved the looks of it, so i hunted for one, and i got a nice Genuine RA28GT.
