So true about Bay Shore Hobbies! It makes me nervous going in there! There is stuff piled from floor to ceiling. The owner does sit behind the counter on a stool and is not all that helpful. If you ask him for a specific part, such as a PE kit or something, he points towards a pile and tells you to look through it. It's a cool place, but definitely needs organization.

Wow! I wonder if all you guys left Long Island because there are no good hobby shops left. They are hard to find around here these days.

Just wanted to say hi. I just joined this forum today, although I've been lurking around here for a while. I've recent gotten back into the hobby after many years. I'm currently building a 1970 1/2 camaro with an engine swap from a 2013 Camaro ZL1. This is a great hobby, and I can't believe the level of talent on this forum! I'm looking forward to being a part of it!
