Psychographic
The floorpan for the trailer is painted. Back to the engines, I redid the plug wires on the right side engine. I removed the stock water pumps and will build an electric one to replace them, that should clean the plumbing and belts up a bit.
Psychographic
all i can say ''this thing is nuts ''with the trailer it need a wild custom bike to roll out of it Will a custom twin engine mini trike work?
Psychographic
I messed around with the trike a little more. I started with making new wheels and tires for the back. The framework for the tire. The tire is ready for prime and filler. I made a front tire but will probably scrap it in favor of an O-Ring if I can find one the right size. I've also started on the front forks and footpegs.

shucky
I was bored and came into a section of the forum which I hardly ever do. I'm soooo glad that I did because I found this thread! Psychographic
I couldn't find my circle cutter so the rear tire was a bit out of round. I cast that tire and now armed with a solid tire I trued it up with a Dremel and some sandpaper. I am now in the process of casting this tire. I made the fenders for the trailer from an unkown set from something from the 30's. I took the front half of the back fenders and mated them to the back half of the front fenders. Then the side was filled in with .030 sheet and the back edges were filled with some scrap stock . I did a bit more sanding to the inside of the trailer, it's getting close to primer. I'm out of commission as far as body work, my compressor broke the other day. With a little luck, I'll have a replacement in about a week. Psychographic
The original plan was to do a hubless front wheel. I decided to do a hubbed wheel with a clear center to see how it looked. I liked certain aspects of it, but I liked the rake and how the forks go right to the ground with the hubless setup better. The fabrication is done, time to clean it up and start detailing. Here's how it's going to look. I stripped the chrome from the kit engine and made a new mold, hopefully it will have a bit more detail. I'll know tomorrow. Psychographic
The new engines look much better. I've added an exhaust system, but it needs some fine tuning.

Psychographic
I decided the trike deserved better rear wheels. I cut a piece of tube (3/8"?) to make the main hoop for the rim. I then cut a piece that fits snugly in the main hoop and five pieces of .030 hex rod. After arranging the spokes, I added a small drop of MEK to a length of .080 rod and pressed it into the center of the spokes. Once it dried, I added a drop of CA for added strength. Then the spokes were centered on the small hoop and cemented in place. A small length of tube was added to the back to mount the axle. Cemented at first to get as centered as possible, then Ca glued. The spokes were trimmed to the outer part of the hoop. Front Back Slide the center in from the back and cement into place. An improvement over the steelie wouldn't you say? Psychographic
Please cast that trike! I would love to get my hands on one of those. Sorry but I'm new to casting, I don't think I have the knowledge or skill to make the frame for the trike.
