  1. From the RoM #1 post... Harry, any chance maybe we can get a sticky post with your rules message in it?
  2. Well, I was going model based on the 'too clean' argument, but given my track record with these, going real instead. Too tough to call for sure, which is why I love these, keep it up Harry!
  3. Going with model, for two reasons that I'll hold off on until Friday (dead giveaway in my opinion, which will make me look pretty darn silly if I'm wrong yet again )
  4. I always seem to wind up in the underdog pack....at first glance it looked like a model to me, and after study, it looked real. When in doubt, go with that first intuition, model it is!
  5. After much study and debate, I have to go with real. There are some very compelling points to make for model (maybe a large scale?), so in the end, this one is mostly gut feeling. Or maybe that's just gas?
  6. Harry, which way did you think it would be one-sided towards? (so I can vote the other way lol)
  7. Found you! (well, found your car anyway ) We had great fun checking out the HUGE collection of 1:1 cars, well worth the trip. It looked like Revell is only going to be there Sat/Sun (and I'm stuck working). I had hoped maybe they would have a vendor table out to browse, no such luck. There was one model club represented with a few models, maybe there will be more today/tomorrow? Anyhow, awesome ride Shawn....are you going to take it over to the Autocross track and run it? That looked like waaaay too much fun
  8. The wife and I are headed out there in a bit, we'll see if we can find you Shawn Camera battery is charged, maybe I can get a pic of the 'hideous hood scoop'!
  9. This weekend, Fri-Sun (5th-7th October) there's a show going on, with a model show sponsored by Revell-Monogram. For any of you in the DFW area, might be a good time. I'm betting there will be lots of opportunities for some reference photo shooting http://www.good-guys.com/news/hotNews.aspx for more info.
  10. I'm definitely in the minority, but I had to go real with this one. It looks like the license plate has been blanked out (would only need to happen to hide a real plate) It looks like maybe the forground was 'shopped in to look more model-ish. There is a....well, a pimple or something near the back edge of the door....would anyone detail the recessed lug nuts and leave a big 'ol bump like that in the side? I'm one for three and was totally guessing on the one, so the odds seem against me this time too *edit to add sig line*
