Ajay
As the weathers stopping me from doing any spraying I thought I'd make a start on this one - it's the recent Aoshima release with engine. It's slightly disappointing as it's only a 1/2 engine but what there is is nicely detailed and should look ok. So far I've roughed out the bodykit with plastic sheet & Tamiya epoxy putty -the front will need lot more work but the general shape is there. Thanks for looking Andy
MrObsessive
Ahhhhh, I've always like those 240's........but they've all but disappeared here in the states! I almost bought one new ('89?) but the price was a little rich for my blood back then............around $15,000 or so! Keep us posted on this one! Ajay
Just a quick update on where I am with the front bumper. It's taking a bit more time than I anticipated as it's fairly complicated - nearly there - just needs some final filling & sanding. Hope you all had a good Xmas - thanks for looking Andy
JAFFA
That looks pretty good, what color are you going by?? Ive also noticed that many of you guys her dont like spraying indoors?? i do all my spraying indoors, all you need is something to cover the model like a box wich you cut out two sides from, works fine. and you sleep soOOo good the upcoming night! jbwelda
there seem to be plenty more series 1 240 (aka silvia for japan home market) out on the west coast than the series 2 (i forget the "r" designation), or at least i seem to see more earlier ones than later (and i have a 96 1:1 so i tend to notice them when they go by). nice body kit there. im currently finishing up a series 2 garage defender that required a lot of fiddling with the body kit, filling and reshaping. will post when together
