  1. That's what I was thinking to its to thick it wasn't about saving money just wanted to try it out I live in a small town with only a hardware store so I just tried it out but I know now I wont be using it again thanks for the quick response
  2. And also if you have used it let me know what works better this tape or the bmf
  3. Have any of you guys tried using this hvac tape I tried some tonight it worked OK but its kinda hard to cut so its tuff to make a clean straight cut
  4. I'm wondering if any one has used this hvac tape and used real bmf. I used some if the hvac tape and it worked OK but doing curved edges was tuff and cutting the tape was a little difficult to it made it hard to get a clean strait cut any info and tips will be appreciated thanks again
  5. Did a little more today put up a door its a sliding door I wanted to do an overhead door but maybe I can put one some were else as you can I put channel in the floor and on the wall I'm going to paint them still and then I made the doors out of styrene sheet sanded them and painted them a few different colors and airbrushed the straight lines
  6. Well since were on the topic Richard the chain hoist you made is very cool and I was thinking of making one I have the chain but I'm lost on how you made the pulley system I didn't even realize that you had made one but it was slow at work tonight so I was looking at your garage again and seen that you had made one
  7. f1ford48 these are all 1/24 scale models the trailer is a diecast thou
  8. Well thanks guys and crazy Richard I got the brick idea from your hot rod garage that was amazing I don't want to copy it but I just liked the look of brick so much you do great work
  9. Hey Stan thanks what I did for the brick work was. I started with a sheet of foam insulation the blue one its an in thick I think using a t square I measured a 1/4 in vertical for the the lines the actual brick width is a 1/2 in then I just drew the lines in with a pencil and I used water based airbrush paint for the color just kinda put a dot of about 5 different colors and smeared it all together then let it dry some just so it was a little tacky then I dumped regular flower on it rubbed it in to fill the cracks with "concrete" and that's it
  10. Thanks slusher did a little more work tonight got a floor and the other walls up and a few other things now I'm just waiting for my eBay purchases to show up
  11. Here is just a couple diffrent angles still have a lot more I want/need to do but thanks for looking and hope to get some feed back and ideas
