freakshow12
this is pretty cool. I use bmf on some wacky paint jobs as its thinner and gives a really crisp edge.
kenss
GOOD GREAF JUST HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR IT TO STRIP? AND WHAT IS IT IN?
gautreau
kc7wzl, yes I did seal the tape after I masked it. But it and the krylon didn't get along. So the hood and box are back in the pond for a week. The cab faired a little better. As you can see there are some various size paint blowouts. But I can fix these.Once those are fixed I can start on the stripes with gel pens. Thanx for lookin' Jeremy.
gautreau
Yeah That is going to be my new rule.Test the compatability of the paints first.

CWD
Looks great, good job sticking with it! Nothing more maddening than having two different paint jobs not getting along, especially at the tail end of the process. I've had it happen to me while painting a $200 goalie-style catcher's mask... at the clear coat stage... after a day of detailed airbrush work. kc7wzl speaks wisdom, test 1st! gautreau
Thanx I appreciate that. Well it didn't go so well with the body.I talked it over with my friend who asked me to build this and he said to touck up the blow out and he's happy. So I'm off to start touching up the blown out spots. Thanx for lookin' Jeremy
