Tesla
I built this gravel trailer to go with my DR. The 2 hole wheels are from Double Take Replicas (KJ Humphreys). Thanks for looking! KJ790
That looks great Dennis! What did you use for the tarp?
angelo7
The real gravel detail is outstanding as is the whole truck and trailer. Is it all gravel to the bottom? Or did you use a "false" bottom? I wanted to do this on my trailer but I was afraid that if I fill it up with gravel it would be too heavy on the plastic. I also thought of about mixing the gravel with glue and put a false floor so I would not need a lot of gravel but never got around to do it. Tesla
Thanks everyone. KJ, for the tarp material I used tulle. I purchased it at Michaels. Here's a link:http://www.michaels.com/celebrate-it-occasions-tulle-fabric/M10249540.html?dwvar_M10249540_color=Lavender#q=tulle&start=1 Angelo I used cat litter for the gravel and no false bottom. After the pics I emptied the trailer. I might make a false bottom for a permanent display.

Brinx
Very nice Dennis! The builds are fantastic. I especially like your study of old (restored?) meets new (modern). Quite well executed.
kilrathy10
One day I'm gonna get one of these things built, again.....Beautiful job.....The details you've added to this thing look great.....You, totally, pulled it off.....AGAIN.....Just masterful.... And, I use kitty litter in my dump bodies, as well....It's amazing the different textures different types of litter there are....The cheaper, the better....The cheaper ones resemble gravel and dirt more than the more expensive versions.....Good call....
