  1. Great looking truck. Definitely reminds me of the Outlaw 35 monster truck from back in the day. Good job on the build. Jeff
  2. Every kit is in a different scale, just like diecast cars. Jeff
  3. Ah, my real passion, logging railroads. It's been tooooooo long since my last visit to Cass, I would move there except I'm getting too old to work on the railroad and I couldn't take West Virginia winters anymore. I've ridden right in front of Big 6 to listen to the "stack talk" going up the mountain and it's impressive. Thanks for sharing the video. Jeff
  4. Very, very nice. Movie cars and trucks are cool, so much better when there's not a real veichle or kit to use. Great job on that. Jeff
  5. I just wonder what happens in 20 years when the glue disingrates and it falls apart like all my childhood models did. 🤔 Jeff
  6. It's my sad duty to say that a south central PA long time modeler, Charlie Warner has passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023. He was 73 years old. He was one of the founding members of the Central Pennsylvania Model Car Club. Charlie befriended me and took me under his wing when I joined CPMCC about 15 years ago. He and I would swap ziploc bags of junk parts at the meetings, after sorting through all of the goodies we would want for ourselves. I swear it was his life mission to buy every '40 Ford kit or part he would come across. He was a good friend and will be missed. Jeff "Goose" Herrman
  7. Very nice Scout. Great job with the add ons. Jeff
  8. Thanks for the info. As Dale pointed out, his health is more important. I'll wait for my order and hopefully he'll be better soon. Jeff
  9. Very nice build. The wheels and tires look great. I never knew this kit existed either. I saw the real Quicksand concept at the York Pa Jeep show in 2017. Definitely need to get one now. Jeff
  10. I came back to this thread hopeful that there was some good news on the horizon. I sent off 2 emails to Chris, but have not heard anything back in week. I hope he is doing OK. As mentioned, I wish he would give us an update somehow. I can't wait for the Scout parts I've ordered. Jeff
  11. Very nicely done. Reminds me of Randy Moore's car from the early days of pro mod. Jeff
  12. Cool "truck", but I bet it was a beast to drive. Can't imagine turning those front tires without power steering. And it must have been geared really low. Not a lot of horsepower in those model A's. Still would be a neat project. Jeff
