Hello there, I'm just curious if I can add photos straight from my own computer. So far it seems it's only a thumbnail that I can add. Anyway this is something I recently finished. If I can get this working, there will be more pics and text...

I'm still not sure if any of these are working... either it's the full size photo or the thumbnail...

Is that a man or a woman driving that thing....

Actually it's a plastic figurine. By the way, wearing a bikini top is to my knowledge not very popular amongst so called normal men anywhere in the world either.

On the other hand I have also seen commercially resin cast "woman" figurines, and they all seem to be at least triple-D and wearing so revealing clothes that they are more naked than dressed and at least half of them would certainly get arrested if they were real persons met in a public place, so I understand that telling the sex of a figurine who is modelled after a normally equipped and normally dressed person may be difficult for the unexperienced.

So I hope I could give you a satisfactory answer to your question. It would be interesting to know what it was that made you doubt, as you are the first one of the several people who have seen this model to ask this question...

Uhhh...please tell us or give us a tutorial about the wicker seats. This is a perfect example that can help TreeHugger Dave with his Auburn build.

That is the reason this project was standing on the shelf for several years... how to make wicker seats... Then, this spring everything was suddenly clear to me. I even had had the materials at home for quite a while. I used Eduard photo etched 1/700 scale ship railing that I shaped over a frame made of thin soldering wire, using the kit's seat as guideline. The PE railing makes the structure rigid enough, while the frame is flexible enough to allow the seat to be shaped and adjusted even after installing in its place. The PE railing was folded so that it has two layers and I stressed and rolled it a bit to get the layers between eachother to create a woven appearance. I painted the seats with Tamiya sand color and Tamiya clear yellow on it.

Sorry, I must congratulate you for your very sharp eye. The figurine's body was put together from Preiser's "Eva"- series female parts, but the head really is a man's head from Tamiya's rally mechanics set, whose chin I made smaller for more feminine look. This must be the thing that confused you, isn't it?
