  1. Hi Jeremy . I still do want those MoPar parts . Would you like some $ or trade for your wants ? I am waiting for your answer . Happy Building ..GoBless you and yours ..John JR

  2. I haven't done a whole lot to the car as of late, but I did start the mock up using another 69 johan body. Looks like it will be a bit of work to get it all to fit together properly. I think the interior is going to be the hardest to make fit though. I did get all the engine compartment parts trimmed down to where they look good and fit pretty good. Still need to do a bit more trimming on the core support though I think.
  3. That kit looks amazing. I used to have a real 69 300 when I was 18 and I miss that car so bad. Looks like I will have to start saving.
  4. Okay, not that you can tell by the pictures, there are three different colors on these wheels. They took me a bit of time to paint and I am pretty pleased with the final product. The middle part is a really pretty color that I mixed till I liked it. I am not sure if I want to make the center cap silver or just leave well enough alone. Anyway, let me know what you all think.
  5. I guess I may as well just turn this into my build thread. lol If the mods want to move it to wherever that is, that's cool. Anyway, I received the parts I ordered from Kris and let me just say, they are awesome. Thanks for the recommendations and the great parts. I also received my spyder wheels and I am thrilled with them as well. Now just a few more parts to get before I start. Has anybody given any thought about my "day two" community build idea? And agreed. Thanks for the pics guys. Bahama Yellow looks very good. That is one of my favorite colors, not sure why I didn't think about that. Does anyone make a stripe like the one on the bottom pic?
  6. Does the brake fluid not hurt the plastic? I need to strip a body that I just painted and the head went screwy and messed up the paint.
  7. Where is a good place to get the flocking?
  8. I got it off of eBay. The lady at the store I bought it from quickly responded and told me to send it back for a full refund. So I am happy about that. But now what do I do about the community build? hmmm It was from R&R
  9. Well all, I haven't received my resin spyder wheels yet, but I hear they are nice. I have received most of my other parts and am getting excited for this build. I am thinking of starting a community build for "day two" cars. For those of you that don't know what a "day two" car is, I will explain. A day two car is a muscle car (65-73) how you would see it in the late 70's to early 80's after the added custom wheels, shackles, tunnel ram, crazy high metallic paint, wrecked, shag carpet, however you depict it. It could be a show car or a well used car. I think that is what I am hoping to do with this build. It will be stock enough, but be a well taken care of modded A12 car. Let me know what you guys think about the community build? Anyway, here is a picture of the car and parts I have collected so far. I am still needing to find a six pack set up that will fit the revel 440, headers, and a few other little things. I am also going to work on making a correct looking A12 air filter base. The best looking lid that I have found so far is the Jo-Han HEMI lid. I am still unsure of the color I want to go. I was thinking black with black interior, but I really want the flat black hood to stand out. Anyway, throw out your suggestions and let me know what you all think about the community build suggestion. Jeremy
  10. Here's pics of the major project. Not worth the $60 I gave for it for sure. After looking at it closer, I have to build my own frame as the front end isn't even on level. It's also missing the rear door post and the list goes on. I know resin kits are a bit tougher than regular kits, but this is bad.
  11. Well, I got the resin crew cab yesterday and let me just say, I am not impressed (good thing I was already planning a flat bed). The door lines are crooked and .... It's just not good. But I will try to make it work anyway. I am going to end up doing a full custom frame I think too. I want it to be a 4X4 and there is no way to mod the frame that came with it. I will try to get some decent pics in a bit. Jeremy
  12. I received my hood from smallblockdodge resins yesterday. The hood looks very nice. I did have to do a bit of trimming and sanding to get it to fit the Jo-Han body. There is still a bit of work to do, but over all I think it looks good. There is one pit right in the top that I am not sure how to fix, any ideas?
  13. Stewart. That is awesome. Any idea of how much it will cost when completed? I can already tell you that I will take one. is it going to come with a trans? Is there anyone out there that make T-cases? Looks like I will have to take some good pics of my real cummins for reference.
  14. Thanks Nick. I think I have decided what I am going to do. I need to pick up a few kits and a WHOLE bunch of parts. I am going to use the crew cab Dodge and put a flat bed on it as the resin bed is totally wrong. I will probably end up building a custom frame so I can have a slightly lifted 4X4. I need to find a fifth wheel flat bed trailer (does anyone know if there are any out there?) for it to pull with a Dodge pulling truck on it. Looks like I will have to get a Thunder Struck kit (They have gotten expensive). Also, does anyone make a 1/25 truck cummins? How about resin 4x4 parts, winches, roll bars, etc...? I feel this is going to be expensive. lol. If anyone has any Dodge truck kits or parts they will sell (I really don't have anything to trade as I am just getting back into building), please let me know. Thanks all, Jeremy
