Well, what a pleasant surprise! Thanks for the kind words. And its great to be back!

Been building for over 40 years with some 2-3 years breaks, and this is a return from such. I have recently resubscribed to MCM and Scalauto. Really like to attend swap meets and shows. I enjoy scaling and scratch building diorama parts. Possibly interested in finding a local club.Looking forward to seeing some builds!

How does this work? Who do I ask?? This is why I rarely use this site. I cannot get help, I cannot get info. I would be here every day if I knew how to upload a pic. The help pages are no help. I need laymans answers. I build, I do not use the computer all day every day. Any help would be appreciated.

I would like that too. I must be doing something wrong. I am still somewhat computer illiterate. Could I get a helpful hint? I just keep on trying. How do I get a pic on here? That was my 6th attempt. I think I will give up now.

Thank you all. I sold it for 1.00 at the last swap meet. Easy go. I am building my Mustang with a 302. Gracias.

I use used sanding belts from work, bonded with wood glue, I paint it the cheap Wally world blue first, not entirely, just a quick coat, then primer gray and allow it to dry, then gloss and flat black dustings. Before the last paint cures, I wipe with a rag(non-lint) and thinner until it looks right. Practice Makes Perfect. After a complete curing, I mask off and spray the double yellows and/or white lines. I also make some great guard rail out of the cartons that 2 1/2 dozen eggs come with. And I beams from Index cards.
