Almost done with it. Real wood bed with copper trim, donk wheels & tires, blown 454 from "Heavy Chevy" Chevelle kit. Had the black version of this kit, forgot how awful this kit was. This is the green version.
My 5 year old granddaughter insisted on helping with this one. She picked the colors, & painted the interior, chassis & engine. Not really a good 1st kit choice, but we had fun. Paint is all Michael's craft & acrylics.
Totally box stock build. Testors "Revving Red" laquer & Krylon gloss white "short cuts" (small can) . Interior is red, buttermilk & white acrylic craft paint. Engine is nail polish. Lost the fender skirts though, they might have looked cool. I'm quite happy with the Chevy emblems.
I'm doing this backwards,so what else is new. Already made a few trades & quite happy with everything so far. I build 1/24-1/25 scale plastic, & enjoy meeting fellow builders from all over. This forum is the best I've seen ! Jeff Kessler
