57peppershaker
Got a couple of old wrecks on the build bench, how do I make the tyres look flat ?
SuperStockAndy
Put the tires under a candle to get them warm, then smash them on the table on the warm spot
Edsel-Dan
Best use a Hollow tire for that plan. A Solid will Burn before you get it warm enough to 'Deflate' that way. Also, Insert front & rear rim pieces or a long tube of correct diameter to hold the center round when Deflating, and be able to hold the tire
57peppershaker
Thanks Guys, I'll try it on some scrap tyres. The tube idea sounds better Dan & no having run fingers under the cold tap lol
1957dodgeregent
take some large scissors, cut a section from the outside of the tire, and smoothe it down, then glue the rim and hubcap back on Edited December 2, 2011 by 1957dodgeregent
Longbox55
take some large scissors, cut a section from the outside of the tire, and smoothe it down, then glue the rim and hubcap back on How would that make a tire look flat? That sounds more like making a tire look ground off.
