Thanks for all the interest so far guys! Much appreciated!

come one bro, this isnt a cossy your building you need some real boost to make real power

on a side note...have i ever shown you this?

utf-8BSU1HMDA2MDAtMjAxMDA2MjUtMjEzM.jpg

two huge turbo blowing (hot) air into a supercharger

you smell that ?

thats the smell of roasting firestones

smells good doesnt it ?

got a thought for paint yet ?

i cant figure out if this should be a black stealthy build of a bright in your face build (do i remember correctly you got a thing for pink ferraris) ;)

oh, one more thing

wait for it

wait for it

"aspidienzo"

aspide= viper, enzo=enzo and best part is...if you say it fast all you hear is "speed"

Weirdly enough this is the first picture i saw of the 1/24 quad cam Hemi and a soon as i saw it that was it, turbo chargers are a maybe at this point, really im just loving the look of the supercharger right now ha ha. No its not me who has a thing for pink Ferrari's ha ha but while we are on the subject of paint im thinking of a Tamiya acrylic lime green as the main colour then place mesh in random spots and spray matte black on those parts so it looks like a snake skin effect.

Something just hit me about that motor....Can you imagine what kind of unholy monster that engine would be if they put in some of the modern engineering and tech like they did on the Pentastar motor that's in my 200. The Pentastar in Challenger trim is supposed to be good for 305 horse and 268 Ft/LBS out of 220 cubes, a modern version of those heads made to take advantage of the VVT and modern fuel management systems on an engine that big could be psychotically powerful :o

EXACTLY! :o Im going to do what i can to this motor so it looks as if it has had modern day tuning, it will look insane! :)

  • 2 months later...

Its been a while, to be honest not much work has happened since my last post on this build.

Really all i've been doing is planning the project out, making mesurments, checking those mesurments, then checking again.

Before there was a slight misalignment of the transaxle but now i am happy with it so i did a little mock up of the motor, stay tuned for this coming Thursday...

If you want to hunt Ferrari's, you better be packing enough.

And 12 cylinders is a good jumping off point ;)

Haven't figured out if I want the 4 X 4 bbls, or the 12 pack.

I started this thing ages ago to power.... well, we'll talk about that in another thread. But it caught my attention that someone else was screwy enough to swap this thing in a project. I'm really surprised not more builds use this piece. Looks good, keep it up. And the twin turbo / blower set-up was awesome!

Thanks for the great feedback guys, its really keeps me motivated! :D

John that motor is incredible, a 12 cylinder hemi :o, id say go with the 12 pack but whatever you decide to drop that motor into....it will definitely be crazy!

Thank you for the support.
