  1. I like it. It's like a second generation Corvair and a Dino coupe had a beautiful baby.
  2. A '32 from ICM would be nice, though seeing how much WW2 stuff they do, would something from the '40s be out of the question? A '42 Ford would seem to be an obvious choice.
  3. Because you can never go wrong with Dick Dale. I've been enjoying Tokyo Vice a lot, especially the soundtrack.
  4. Oh, people will gripe whatever you do. My thought is, even if you have no interest in ,32 Tudors, there are still some nice parts for the kitbashers. I plan on getting at least one.
  5. That is a nice colour. Humbrol Midnight Blue is a ver close match for it.
  6. Kind of hoping here that Revell will pick it up eventually like other ICM kits, with a drop in price.
  7. Hobbylink Japan is taking orders, and they're expecting it in June. There's a little sticker shock, but Revell kits are going for $50-$60 here now, so it's not that bad. About what they charge for Tamiya kits here. https://www.hlj.com/1-24-scale-model-a-standard-phaeton-soft-top-1930s-american-passenger-car-icm24050
  8. That would be nice. AMT's '57 already has a Meteor grille. All it needs is a couple of corner pieces, and various bits of trim to make the conversion.
  9. I have my own opinions on the intelligence and mental stability of people who camp out to buy game stuff. I suppose I could camp out on the guy's front door, but a trip to Maryland does seem a little excessive, and he might not be all that pleased by finding some stranger sitting on his front porch waiting for parts.
  10. I sent an email query in February, and still no reply. The parts do look very nice, but if he really doesn't want to do business with me, what can I do?
  11. A little late to the discussion, but if you have a pin vice and some tiny bits, as modelers tend to have, drill a hole in the bottom of a coffee can, or other large can, to make a pinhole projector. Cut a hole in the lid and tape some paper across it for a screen. For a larger image, cut the bottom out of a second or third can, and duct tape them all together.
