The idea was to build a typical Street Machine like I used to see on the streets in the late 70's / early '80s when I was a kid. I chose Revell's '68 Dodge Charger kit, added a hurst shifter, chrome chain steering wheel, ansen 5 slot wheels, traction bars, raised the rear of the car, I used the Hemi engine in the kit because I built that one for a Hemi theme at a local show, changed the street hemi intake for a cross ram, added an accel supercoil, wired and plumbed, paint is automotive waternorne basecoat and urethane clear. I painted the chassis black, as most street machine cars were at that time, rotisserie restaurations were not common back then... I also added a pair of Hush Thrush mufflers to it! I had a friend whos older brother had a 74 Duster...L70's out back same kind of rake...my friend and I put on a backyard carnival to make some money so we could buy comic books.
