  1. Sam, That's it! If you happen to pour a few. let me know. I would certainly be interested in one. Thanks for the reply!
  2. I was at a show and saw a resin body of a custom Corvette that looked like a '69 C3 with '63 split-window C2 body styling. Can anyone tell me who made this body and if it is still available?
  3. Completed a great trade with truckaddict. Thanks again Al!!
  4. Yeah...I'm working with the Cop Out kit. The problem with them is that they did all four halves wrinkled in the same direction so they are only accurate to one side.
  5. Is There a suitable kit-based replacement for R/M's wrinkle-wall slicks? I know there are resin ones out there but I can't afford to order any and was wondering if I have something in my stash that will work.
  6. If I remember correctly, AMT made a Ford Louisville with a car hauler ramp bed ith generic black stripes as a stand alone kit. I have one in the Budweiser Drag Team with the Mustang II funny car but I don't remember any other combos using that truck
  7. Very nice, Gary! I'm A bass player. Have to post my basses when I get a chance.
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_p7ZuoIDvM Check this video. One of the 2+2s is right behind the host at the beginning. It certainly appears to be black to me.
  9. I would go with the GTX. It's a newer kit and goes together much better. The downside to the Daytona besides age is once they get the diecast out, they will be more interested in playing with it than building the model.
  10. I am the same way!! I think a lot of it for me is the thrill of the hunt, so to speak, more than anything. There is no way I could build everything that I own even if I lived to be 500 years old. I agree with Rob. My money could be going into much worse vises than plastic. As far as what I look for...it depends on the day.
  11. Maybe more of these optional parts will show up in future re-issues.
  12. I used Plasticote and love it but no one around here carries it anymore. I don't like DupliColor as much but I use it and Tamiya.
  13. The zoomies pictured in the auction are what caught my eye. I am pretty sure that they are in one of the reissued kits that have been released recently. Maybe in the AMT 72 or 67 GTO kits since the GTO was part of the series also. Need ti find one of my kits and see. I found a pic of the GTO.
  14. Just saw this on Ebay. Was this the only kit or was Street Funny a series like Street Freaks? Were there any other kits like this?
