Ironman63
I need the chrome side sail molding that says "Custom" for my build. Is there someone in the aftermarket that sells these? I appreciate any help in advance. http://
Jantrix
Doubtful. On a kit this would have been something that would have been molded in if it was done at all. Good luck.
Erik Smith
Scratch build...find some sheet styrene that is for siding in N scale (model railroad) and cut to shape. You can print a small "Custom" on clear decal paper. Add a small piece of styrene for the bottom shape. Guest
Here's the closest you'll come to the piece you're after. http://www.modelcargarage.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=245&idcategory=12 It's weird that they're on the '60 Chevy fret and not on the '64-'65 fret. Here's one for the '64-'65 http://www.modelcargarage.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=208&idcategory=12 Edited January 2, 2014 by plowboy
Fabrux
If you're feeling really ambitious you could cut the B-pillar from an AMT 1960 C-10 and graft it in; it has the trim you're looking for. Ironman63
Thanks for the replies. That's what thought when I couldn't find one online. I think I'll try the .025 V-groove siding first and see where it goes from there.
