AMT 70 1/2 Z28 rear end question

Recommended Posts

I think just the opposite The blocks with a leaf spring will raise the body up for bigger rear tires...just like lifting a 4X4.

the leaf springs go under the rear end on the camaros, so it would be pushing the rear end up into the wheel wells. I was looking at my 1:1 and figured out I need to use longer shackles to lift the rear end up for bigger tires...which i plan on doing. thanks again

Yep..that is correct....it looked the opposite, but the instructions will tell you for sure.

One is for the Baldwin Motion version. It comes with Cragars and Mickey Thompson tires for the rear. So, tire clearance was needed for it. The other is, of course, for the stock Z/28.
