beefheart22 Posted April 22, 2009 Share Posted April 22, 2009 (edited) Hey folks, I appreciate the encouragement I received from my last build, so I dove right into another NASCAR build: Not one of Geoff Bodine's best ride to say the least, but it was still one of my favorite rides regardless being that he was one of my favorite drivers. When I saw people basically giving away this kit on eBay, I picked it up with along with a butt-load of same-era AMT NASCAR kits for dirt cheap. But enough of the back story. beefheart22 Posted April 23, 2009 Author Share Posted April 23, 2009 Ok, added a few more details and completed the rollcage. Preparing the rims and suspension parts for paint and assembly right now. Soon I'll have a complete chassis. It's coming together pretty quickly. I should get on the decals so they can dry and I can get on with polishing the body. The body is all decal-ed up, just waiting for the decals to set/dry before I polish the body and install the windows. Other than that, the only the left to do is the rear suspension. It's been a fun build so far. Especially after my JG build, I now know what and what not to do. Also taking some savvy advice you guys left in my last thread about spraying parts too.
