Atmobil
That looks seriously rusty, amazing detailing there. But a couple of questions, would the tires still hold air after sitting for so long? And what method do you use to make the body look this thin and rusty?
bpletcher55
The tires will be flattened latter . the method I use is to remove plastic from the back side with a dremel tool to thin the plastic and then I can poke holes though the plastic with a hobby knife or what ever I need to get the results I need . HOPE THIS HELPS
Atmobil
The tires will be flattened latter . the method I use is to remove plastic from the back side with a dremel tool to thin the plastic and then I can poke holes though the plastic with a hobby knife or what ever I need to get the results I need . HOPE THIS HELPS Same method that I have tried in the past then, you must have gone mental and removed a lot of material from the back of that one. It looks so thin that one could almost belive that it would brake apart out of its own weight. Great job indeed
bpletcher55
yes it is very thin and the fender assembly has lost a lot of it,s strength. I have to be very careful handling it ,but I have done this be for so I,m getting the hang of it . I love taking a peace of new plastic and making it look like old and weathered metal ,wood ,or what ever I happened to be trying to build . thanks for the kind words . keep building and trying new things pushing your skill level .
