I love clicking in on the latest installments, it just makes my day. Part of that is that you are consistently building, no long waits between reports like on my builds! Second, anyone who hasn't learned something from this thread is brain dead! The skill and imagination that's gone into creating this car is as over the top as the subject matter. I can't wait to see 'er done! Only then I'll be sad that it's come to an end... kinda like when your favorite show goes off the air! One of my favorite parts of watching John build is the end of the wip,....Cause you know theres another one brewing already.John your awesome. I have a newbee question...since the paint for the flames is laid down over the pink, it leaves them looking "3-D", or like they are sitting on top of the pink coat. Hi Dan........after I lay down the rest of the flames........I will give everything a clear coat........then I will wet sand the clear coat.......then I will lay down another clear coat.........then I will sand again and then give a final clear coat........and everything should be smooth as glass.......thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

John Teresi Posted March 13, 2013 Author Share Posted March 13, 2013 Hello.......thank you all very much for the kind comments........I finished all the flames on the body........I still need to add 2 flames to the trunk lid........I will do that in a couple of days..........I will clean all the edges on the body and give it`s first clear coat tonight..........the flames are "Not" exactly like the 1:1 car but,good enough for the girls I go with........thanks for looking. Thanks! I was asking because in the past I had tried some two tone paint jobs and there was always the definative raise to the second color.
