fantacmet
Here you guys go, this would be interesting for someone with more time, money, and scratchbuilding skill to do and it'd be one very original build. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ROPhfb1QRuc/UHEgx_yH-kI/AAAAAAACHRw/UzGiPFGL5X0/s640/DSC_0141.JPG

fantacmet
Those rollers are pretty common, but that cold mill isn't. Styill the giant robot can't be beat for originality.
Roadrunner
I've considered doing a 1:24 WWII fighter on a lowboy, as if it had been recovered and was headed to a museum for restoration. I saw a full size Mig-21PF like that a few years ago.
Superpeterbilt
I dont how a street roller is better than a massive American engineered car eating Dinosaur, but whatever. Cool find. Ive always wanted to see it hooked to a truck. I havent seen that thing in years. I didnt know it was still around.

Atmobil
what scale is that milling machine and where can I buy one? It should be 1:24 and you can possibly find them in toystores. They are made by DickieToys. Around here every toystore has some of the productline but ToysR'Us have prettymuch all of it. http://www.dickietoys.de/en/home/ I've considered doing a 1:24 WWII fighter on a lowboy, as if it had been recovered and was headed to a museum for restoration. I saw a full size Mig-21PF like that a few years ago. Last year I got a couple of bananacases from another modeller of old projects and builtups that he had done 20-30 years ago. In among that collection was a Italeri Scania T142 with a flatbedtrailer with Airfix 1:24 Spitfire on the back. He had built the plane like it was a project under transport with the engine mounted in a special frame and the wings put up in another set of specialframes besides the fuselage. Quite a cool build but sadly all painted with a brush and it has been sitting on a shelf for many years so it is full of dust and some parts had come of. Roadrunner
Airfix just released a lovely /24th Hawker Typhoon. I know. I had one (reviewed it for a website in fact), but then sold it, as I needed the cash. I'll get another some day though (I hope). I'm thinking more along the lines of a Bf 109, Fw 190, or Ju 87, all of which are available in 1:24 scale.

Exactly the kind of thing I have in mind; a pretty spiffy way to combine the two interests, I think.
kilrathy10
Giant robot....Hmmm....Never would have thought of that.....Definitely could be a cool load....I wonder how heavy the real one is....

Who did you review for (if you don't mind saying)? The FSM review said it had fit issues; but it still looks worth buying. fantacmet
Well as for how much it weighs in at, I've seen a couple real life, that might even be one of them, because the ones I saw were trailers in and of themselves, just like that one. Most of the people who have these, built them themselves. I know they've traveled with the monster truck shows. I have a guy at works who works with Monster jam when they're in the region out here I can ask him if he has the contact information, or if he has any other information on the rig itself. Fat Brian
It's called Robosaurus and it has been for sale a couple times over the last decade or so. They have a site with contact info too.
fantacmet
There we go, quick email to find out how much it weighs let them know you want to model it to be pulled behind a bigrig, and you want to be accurate and they'll probably let you know.
