wow even though this car is a monstrosity in my eyes you did a very inspiring and beautiful job of it; almost makes me change my mind on the styling! and that boat...man thats out of this world!!!

and i love that "cuckoo" smiley you got there...goes perfectly with this statement:

>european and asian cars during the 80's looked like ###### 4REAL

uh which european cars would those be?

:(

now if you come back with some "wedges" i will have to agree! still they got nothing on a monte carlo!

by the way i recently saw a new or relatively new carlo and it looked a whole lot better. but we could have design discussions/wars forever i suppose!

Hi

Thanks to all for the kind of words and the praise, I'm proud of it. Now the model is finished and here you'll see the pics: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forum/viewtopi...p?p=20192#20192

Greetings

Peter

BTW:

Hell, the hummer rolled out o GMs factories, the monte aint that bad lookin,

in fact IMO it looks pretty damned good!, compare it with european and

asian cars from the same time!! and those that followed duuring the 80's,

european and asian cars during the 80's looked like ###### 4REAL, did anyone

ACTUALLY even design them??

This is not a nice car, the '78 MC. The best Monte Carlo was the '77 model, a very great car. I love this '77 design of the Monte Carlo, but the '78 model is the first of some boring cars from this decade. But European and Asian cars from this decade didn't looking better.
