Drago
Guys, can you tell me what is going on? This "new" kit from Lindberg, in this current art box, says it is 1/25 scale. But as you may know, there is already a Flintmobile kit from the same Lindberg (circa 1993) but in 1/20 scale So.. is it a TYPO in this last version or is a new tooling, moreover, a TYPO on the first issue???? I mean, what is the scale anyway? Any thoughts? Edited May 19, 2015 by Drago
keyser
One way to get around measuring and proportioning issues Bwahahahahahaha. Can't imagine a retool, wish it was 1/25. Old Bat-cycle wasn't 1/25, but it's labeled 1/25 now too. didn't buy until I heard, but never heard anything about the kit.
drball
How could an animation be scaled anyway? Food for thought.
unclescott58
How does this model compare to the old AMT version? Scott
iBorg
I wish these came with figures. A kit I wouldn't consider building, would be one I could share building with my kids.
lysleder
I figure the molds were stored improperly, got wet and shrunk.. . yes?

DaveM
Well, Fred was a bit out of scale too IIRC. (Not that I am exactly dainty, myself)
Ace-Garageguy
Numbers are hard, the Chinese don't use our measuring system, the Chinese have never actually seen a REAL Flintstone's vehicle, the budget just wasn't there to get the scale right, there were communication problems, and the deadline didn't allow for getting the correct scale on the box. Same old, same old.
Atmobil
Whatever the scale is, the one that I want to see a kit of is the dinosaur-excavator that Fred is working in in the opening credits of the show. https://youtu.be/gdX6fwfrULI

samdiego
I saw one today in the local Hastings. It wasn't until then that I noticed the changes they made to the car to accommodate the figures that aren't included in this release. I was oddly excited about this until then. I suppose you could chop it lengthwise and eliminate the uprights. And it was 30 bucks. still there
