empinut Posted February 14, 2010 Share Posted February 14, 2010 I created the 5 Bolt BRM (in plastic), Radar, and American wheel. Over the years I have commissioned various casters to pop out a few. At this time, past agreements and permission to recast have been stopped. A new caster has asked permission to repop them and I am curious as to the demand. The white metal BRM was mastered by Dennis Chung. It is 1/24 scale and more flat than my version. I would have to ask his permission for that version. The other wheels, tires shown could also be repopped. The gates commando tires are getting harder to find. I think it's a great idea to offer some optional VW wheels in resin (Robbing a Fujimi Porsche 356 each time you need a set of wheels is geting kinda expensive). If you can get a skilled caster like Alan Raab (Ma's resin) to cast the wheels and possibly even the tires, I'm in for quite a few sets...
