Austin T
Just out of curiousity can this be done with acrylics over an acrylic finish, or should I use a Lacquer clear coat to give it some protection?
Tompidom
i would clear it first and then do it. Acrylic over acrylic is usualy not a good idea. Not a 100% sure, so you could try it on a test piece.

WigWag Workshop
Thanks for sharing, I will have to try this method. I use a mix of India Ink and 91% alcohol, and I apply it using a tooth-pick. I will sharpen the point a little bit, and I will let the tip soak in the mixture for about 30 seconds. I use a high quality cotton bud, the smaller ones you can purchase for modeling to clean up the excess. -Steven
scalenut
I use pro-modeler(flory) wash. it dries to a dust than wipe with a q-tip before clearing. make the job super easy
