GMP440
What colors can I mix to get gold cadmium and green cadmium? Thank you. George
Draggon
I dont know about green, but Tamiyas titanium gold looks pretty close. Or perhaps if you started with aluminum, and then gave it a wash of gold, maybe with some clear yellow you might get close. The trick would to NOT get the finish perfectly uniform. Might even want to add a tiny bit of blue or red.

Dr. Cranky
Dale, Alclad is a good choice, but I would still fog in a little blue and a bit of diluted transparent yellow . . . just like Glenn suggests. I've been doing this to my exhaust pipes and it really makes them POP. Clay Kemp is a real master at this technique.
935k3
Hey Doc have you tried this for exhaust staining? It works good and it comes off with ammonia(harmless to all but acrylic paints.) if you don't like it or want to do over.
