notright Posted January 6, 2013 Share Posted January 6, 2013 The kit in the photos is not the reissued kit. Round 2 is casting them in white not in the colors they first started off in. In turn when the petty kit come out is it going to be white or clear? The clear body parts is what made the petty kit. petty=clear body baker=red body street charger=black dukes=orange and the last run of the street charger was red. Edsel-Dan Posted January 6, 2013 Share Posted January 6, 2013 I believe the Second issue Red Buddy Baker car was a Petty Enterprises car. He did run for them for a couple years. The Clear Body Petty Charger was the First issue. I have the original my dad built back then and had a second unbuilt I sold 25+ years ago. I just MIGHT get one of the Petty re-issues when they come out. I would like to see if I can get Transparent paints in the correct shades to "Paint?Tint" the body but still see the chassis/works underneath Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Leave it all clear, go for a half and half, maybe a museum style where just certain areas are left clear, just clear, clear with decals, lots of ways.
