76 Fury with a 225.

I'm a sucker for these worn out old tool kits, even though it takes a lot to make one presentable.

Detroit PD, like many other big cities had budget issues for decades. Slant sixes and 318's, mostly sixes though.

They did have the good sense to run two-man cars though. I decided to depict a guy that would rather die of lung

cancer than a bad guy's bullet. People love to open the trunk, intsall valve stems and brass lug nuts but

everybody overlooks the stuff that makes a car a car, like the ash tray, the arm rest, glove box, lighter receptacle

and outlets, streaking the glass from the wiper blades?

No 75 Birdie parts here. Hate em!

Revell Chassis, for obvious reasons.

Love the Revell chassis, I use the 8-3/4" from the Socks and Mittens GTX.

looks great. i opened the ashtray on a kit i made in the 90's, of a 77 Toyota Celica liftback as i made it like the one i had. even half a cig in the ashtray.

love the work so far, i dont usually build the engine etc as i dont have access to a lot of kits, info and pics so dont know much about them, so unless i can do it 100% i dont bother.

What are the headlights and bezels from?

looks great

I did the headlights, and almost the whole kit myself.

If I did the body and glass, I would be a kit manufacturer LOL.

The tub isn't even correct on this one, its the 75 RR two door tub!

I use nothing from the chrome tree anymore. I do use the dash though.

Just a thought, more to me than anyone. I'm an ex-smoker. It's typical to find money in

a non smoker's ash tray for the toll roads. That's a very feasible approach, as is

"sun-pass".

The chassis will get weathered once the car is together. I paint the tires, no such thing as

black tires unless my eye sight is that bad all these years. A light dusting of grayish tan

on everything, even when a car is almost new. That blue paint along the edges should

almost vanish, and the metallic colour of the petrol tank. Then same for the engine

compartment, make it look a year old, nothing shiney, but not nasty either. Some leaves

in the cowl and a rag left behind by a distracted mechanic on night shift.

I am way too old for the behind the scenes games you boys play.

The majority of you are good hearted and I appreciate all of you.

I don't want any part of this.

To the other few, I hope you find a better way of life soon.
