tip for plug boots

Recommended Posts

This is not a fancy or high profile tip...but merely something that I do to help me and thought I would pass it on to the "family" here.

When you are doing plug wires and you are using a larger wire's insulation for the boot material...

After you have cut the boot material into the lengths that you will be using, slide all of the boots onto a straight pin.

It will stretch the insulation just enough to slide easily onto the plug wires.

Like I said, nothing fancy, but it works.

what do you use for plug boots im still trying to figure it out

if you buy prewired they come with booth material

if your building you own just find a larger gauge wire then the plugs and strip that wire

then you can use the insulation as booths
